Hola! I recently collaborated with the Deschutes Public Library to create a video featuring Latin music to honor Hispanic Heritage Month and benefit the Latino Community Association’s COVID-19 Immigrant Family Relief Fund. 

In this 45-minute video, I sing selections from my CD, ¿Donde Andaras?, and tell stories about the songs and my own Mexican-American family history. It begins with a two minute introduction in Spanish by a library staff member. The stories I tell as introductions to the songs are in English.

As part of the collaboration, I donated 200 copies of my CD to the Latino Community Association which they are selling for $20 each. All proceeds go directly to support families in our community who are struggling. To purchase a CD, contact Cynthia Jurgensen at cynthia@latca.org  or (541) 815-2401 or go to:
